We recently acquired a beautiful painted framed tile depicting a view of Amwell Magna Fishery circa 1887, courtesy of Sworder’s auctioneers. Although it failed to reach its reserve at auction, we approached Sworders and they kindly agreed to contact the vendor on our behalf. Happily, he was willing to sell it to us and Sworders agreed to waive their premium. It will appear on the wall of the club room shortly.
